Here we have a rather large collection of short information films made for British Public viewing, dating from 1945 to 2005.
I'm sure some of you will find a lot of these have a very nostalgic value.
I find a lot of the earlier films are both very interesting historically and very funny hysterically.
The films are of very good quality but do vary this is due to the various sources i ripped them from: Tv,Vhs,Internet etc.
 
About The COI:

The Central Office of Information, COI, is the centre of marketing excellence for the government.

The Central Office of Information was established in 1946, when the Prime Minister, Clement Attlee, announced that the wartime Ministry of

The COI's vast archive of work provides unique historical insight into culture and innovation, from dealing with the issues of post-war Britain
right up to the innovative campaigns of today.
This is particularly notable in the COI’s responsibility for making and distributing information films for the public. 
These have provided information and influenced behaviour since the end of the Second World War.
