Description:This is my own nLite optimised version of Windows XP Professional for use on the ASUS EEE.



I have been using it for a while now with great success so thought I would share with you all. Unlike other versions I have included many standard windows features which I use.



It is in ISO format for booting directly from an external CD or DVD drive.



After installation the total size is exactly 555MB without a page file leaving 3.17GB free on a 4G. Page file will be enabled by default; I recommend you disable the page file. Clear instructions at:

Language and keyboard support is included for UK & US only.



No product key or activation is required and this copy will pass WGA.



Note that on first boot windows will try and change your screen resolution. Click cancel when it asks you if the new resolution is ok. If you do not then windows will change the resolution to 800x600.
