PLOT : Filming for director Tsui Siu Ming (徐小明)'s epic production Duo Biao <奪標> has finished in China's Hengdian movie city and the cast and crew have now returned to Hong Kong, where post-production work is in full swing.
Cast members Dicky Cheung (張衞健), Priscilla Wong (黃翠如), Mable Cho (曹敏寶) and Eric Lee (李潤庭) were reunited in the recording studio for a dubbing session this week and they celebrated with a small reunion party.
Ahead of the recording work, the experienced Dicky shared some tips with his juniors on how to get the best from the dubbing. He explained that if you imagine yourself back on the set, then it is easy to regain the necessary expression and emotion in your voice. When he found that Priscilla had brought some sweet soup for everyone to share, he was very excited and thankful. He added that after several months filming together in China, the cast members had all bonded like a family, so they all looked after each other.
Dicky hopes that the film will be ready for release soon so that they can share the fruits of their hard work with the audience.
Duo Biao tells the story of the Chinese wushu athletes who were sent to represent the country at the 1936 Olympics. It was thanks to these fighters that the Western world was introduced to Chinese martial arts, paving the way forward for the sport's international development.
